How to make a formal complaint

Use the current official routes below. Keep the submission receipt because a complaint is not complete until the portal confirms registration.

Why use all three routes? Mijas handles municipal permissions, affected Sunset Views homes are in Fuengirola, and the Junta granted AAU/MA/04/18 and has environmental inspection powers for AAU activities.
Municipal permissions

Mijas Council

  1. Open Instancia General, sometimes shown in English as General Instance.
  2. Start electronic processing and identify yourself with your digital certificate.
  3. In EXPONE / Exhibit, give the facts: date, exact time, duration, location and what occurred.
  4. In SOLICITA / Request, ask for the required action, such as an urgent inspection and enforcement of the 14:00 to 16:00 closure.
  5. Attach evidence, sign and save the receipt.

Affected municipality

Fuengirola Council

  1. Open Solicitud General, Registro General de Entrada.
  2. Choose online processing and identify yourself with your digital certificate.
  3. Explain that the affected home is in Fuengirola.
  4. Ask the council to record the impact and coordinate with Mijas and the Junta.
  5. Attach the same evidence, sign and save the receipt.

  1. Open the official Presentación Electrónica General procedure.
  2. Address the submission to the Málaga environmental delegation.
  3. Refer to AAU/MA/04/18 and identify Mijas Karting.
  4. Request inspection of noise and exterior lighting, disclosure of the post-opening acoustic report and review of the AAU conditions.
  5. Attach evidence, sign and save the receipt.
