Noise evidenceSunset Views Phase 1 provides direct evidence of how noise and floodlighting from the track are experienced from occupied homes across the road.
Residents report repeated engine noise, high-pitched tyre screeching and intrusive floodlighting. The effect is heard on multiple floors, and balconies can become unusable during busy operation. The website's dated videos, photographs and indicative readings were recorded from or beside occupied Phase 1 homes.

Operating hoursSunset Views Phase 2 is closer to the track than Phase 1. This creates a reasonable concern that some homes may experience similar or greater exposure. Phase 3 is farther away and may therefore be less affected. Neither future impact has been officially measured.
Because of the local topography, higher apartments are more likely to have a direct line of sight to the track with fewer buildings or natural features acting as barriers. This may increase exposure to engine noise, tyre screech and floodlighting compared with lower levels. The actual effect on any apartment depends on its precise position, orientation and screening and should not be assumed without measurement.
This page records conditions experienced at Phase 1. It is not a prediction or valuation of any particular existing or future property.
