What residents are demanding

Residents are calling for an urgent inspection of the scale, direction and operating times of the floodlighting; effective shielding or reorientation so that light does not spill into occupied flats; and much tighter enforceable conditions governing night-time illumination.

Ley 2/2026 expressly aims to reduce light intrusion into homes and assigns inspection of exterior lighting at AAU activities to the Junta de Andalucía. Read the environmental rules.
